The JMVH Website – https://jmvh.org/ – is currently being redeveloped and the new website should go live in the near future. This will give an improved experience, enabling enhanced searching of the JMVH Online First, podcasts, and current and past articles. The ADF Health articles will be complete, with the addition of the articles from 2009-2011 and will be searchable for the first time. This will enhance further interaction with the JMVH, including for researching future articles, developing evidence-based policy and utilising the articles for training and education. The University of Western Australia has recently begun offering microcredentials in Foundations of Military Medicine (https://www.uwa.edu.au/study/uwa-plus/micro-credential-foundations-of-military-medicine) and Medical Management of Radiation Injuries (ttps://www.uwa.edu.au/study/uwa-plus/micro-credential-medical-management-of-radiation-injuries), which are designed to articulate into a future postgraduate in military medicine. These courses utilise some of the excellent articles available through the JMVH Website.
Our fourth issue of 2026 contains a range of articles on diverse topics spanning infectious disease threats, post-deployment support, strength training and operational readiness, long term health conditions, veteran’s mental health, and spiritual wellbeing. This issue also includes the Abstracts for the upcoming Sydney 2026 AMMA Conference, which cover a wide spectrum of military and veterans’ health areas. We continue to attract an increasing number and range of articles, including from overseas, as demonstrated by several of the articles in this issue. Other military and veterans’ health articles, however, are always very welcome, and we would encourage all our readers to consider writing on their areas of military or veterans’ health interest. We would particularly welcome papers based on presentations being given at the Sydney 2026 AMMA Conference, but welcome any articles across the broader spectrum of military health.
