The compPAC 200 (Pneupac Ltd, UK) is a robustlybuilt portable field ventilator designed for Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (IMV) of patients weighing > 35 kg and is in use by military forces of several countries. The ventilator’s circuit is simple; it delivers oxygen, ambient air or mixtures via a plain hose and Laerdal non-rebreathing valve ± PEEP valve.
